COLOUR POP

Perhaps the most understated form of colour-blocking, this almost entirely monochrome outfit has a few subtle accents that add interest and detail.

I have always loved mixing Navy and Black, but sometimes you need to add in some bright 'pops' of colour to jazz up an otherwise sombre outfit!
The acid-yellow wrap around belt on this Rejina Pyo coat creates a colour-blocking effect that is stand-out without being OTT, whilst the red lining of the Zara bucket bag adds another subtle accent of colour which lifts the look.

By adding a couple of vibrant, contrasting colours to a minimal, monochrome look, you can  experiment with brighter shades to refresh the pieces you already own.

I like to finish off the look like this with a red lip, to brighten up the complexion and pull it all together!
