KEW GARDENS

A few shots from my recent day trip to Kew Gardens. I’ve been wanting to pay this place a visit for a while now, and after seeing a few posters advertising their new exhibition, decided it was the perfect time to check it out!

Not only were the gardens visually beautiful, but I would definitely recommend this as the perfect day trip on a chilly Winter’s day - as all the tropical exhibits are based inside greenhouses you can take shelter in the comfort of the balmy climate.

The Palm House where these photos were taken was a highlight of the trip and my favourite spot. We ventured over on a frosty February morning, and immediately headed to this jungle-esque greenhouse in search of tropical temperatures and the most beautiful exotic plants.

Ambling around this awe-inspiring greenhouse, there’s a visual delight at every turn and the immense abundance of foliage is never ending - a plant lover’s paradise and the perfect respite from the bitter sub-zero temps!

Look out for another blogpost coming soon on the Orchid Festival exhibition...
