My obsession with statement sleeves and statement earrings continues! This time in the form of this simple and classic monochrome look. There is always something chic and smart about an all black and white outfit, which means you can be a bit more adventurous with silhouettes, accessories and all important makeup choices!
To lift the look, and stop me blending into those black and white pillars entirely, I accessorised with some subtle yet bold pops of colour! This look is all about the details, with gold and jewel toned rings, bright metallic gold nails and a vibrant coral/red lip! Red lips look beaut when paired with a simple and understated all black look, and I find a bright lippie always works well to lift and brighten a fair complexion when wearing dark colours!
And finally, it wouldn't be an OOTD without an ode to the main event - the oversized hoops ! These beaut hammered gold earrings are from H&M; I always seem to find interesting pieces in there which are budget friendly and perfect for adding a trend-focused statement to a simple look. I love the unique twist detailing on these, as well as the intricate textured finish. I can't get enough of gold statement earrings to finish off and elevate a look, making you look way more put-together than you actually are!
