EMBROIDERED JEANS

I spotted these jeans on Topshop's instagram and couldn't stop thinking about them! They really caught my eye as a fun and quirky addition to my denim collection which was in need of a Spring update!

I love the girly detailing on these, and the muted colour palette means they sit back with loads of pieces already in my wardrobe, and look great with a basic white tee for a pretty Spring day look.

I've made this look extra feminine by layering up this silky, lace cami and finishing off with this satin choker in a co-ordinating ballerina pink shade to complete the look. I feel like chokers and matching tops are the new co-ords, and I love how on-trend and put-together they can look.

It's all very girly, but the basic white tee tones down the look, keeping it casual together with the light wash denim. I love this trend of layering lingerie-inspired pieces over casual cotton basics and longer sleeves; it's a great way to get more wear out of your more special, strappy pieces!

This pastel pink choker is something different, and a great alternative to the more common black options which can be a bit harsh on fair skintones. This light, bright shade is super flattering on the complexion - a subtler way to experiment with the trend.
